Project Title: Dr. Elsa Health Assistant Diagnostic Tool - Implementation Testing in Bagamoyo, Tanzania
Project Description: The purpose of this study is to test the implementation of Dr. Elsa Health Assistant, an artificial Intelligence clinical diagnostic tool, on the workflow/hand of clinicians. Tablets will be provided to clinicians to test and run the tool. Throughout this time, we will work with the clinicians to iterate on the tool and collect feedback through verbal conservations. the data from these interviews will be used to improve the tool and understand how the tool... Throughout this time, we will work with the clinicians to iterate on the tool and collect feedback through verbal conservations. the data from these interviews will be used to improve the tool and understand how the tool integrates into the workflow of healthcare providers. The Dr.Elsa Health Assistant is a clinical tool, powered by data and artificial intelligence that supports healthcare workers through symptom assessment, decision support, next-step recommendations, and predicting disease outbreaks. the models consume patient demographic information (gender, age, etc.), patient symptoms, lab tests where available, and relevant patient history. At this study the tool will not produce any diagnoses, the clinicians still solely be responsible for making the decision about their patient according to the national guidelines
